Since his studies at Academy he has been thinking out possibilities of mobile objects withcoming into meditative effective symbiosis of stone and water – stability and variability, steady state and coincidence. The topic of hydrokinetic sculpture and movement in general soon become a central topic of Svatek´s sculptural works. Meditatively rhytmical movement of objects is created by the weight or pressure of water coming into hollows of stony objects with the help of a pump (where works in a closed circle). Paralel with hydrokinetic sculptures constructively taken windy objects are made. Since 1993 Svatek also has worked at hydroacustic objects, which enlarge the topic symbiosis of water and stone with sound effects.
